The Spectrum of Crime in Dostoevsky’s Crime and Punishment

In my analysis of Crime and Punishment, I explore the multifaceted concept of “crime,” focusing on its legal, social, and psychological aspects. I examine how characters like Raskolnikov, Svidrigaïlov, and Sonia deal with the consequences of their actions. Additionally, I highlight themes of suffering, poverty, and redemption, illustrating how these elements shape their personal and spiritual journeys.

Poems

In this paper, I present a collection of five haiku and five cinquain poems, each delving into different themes and emotions. As I reflect on the creative process behind each poem, I share the challenges I faced in finding the right words and imagery. Through my analysis, I reveal my personal connections to the themes, drawing inspiration from songs, my own experiences, and the shifts of the seasons. Together, these poems showcase a range of emotions, from the challenges I encounter in golf to the joy of springtime and the pain of bullying.
